Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk
The famous foundation that is in everyone’s GRWM.
And there’s a good reason why.
The silky veil across your skin does not disappoint.
Also infused with glycerin to moisturise your skin at the same time.
Shade: 5.9
First Giorgio Armani…
Dewy & Bright
The coverage on this foundation is absolultely perfect…
If you don’t have anything you need to cover.
If I was having a bad skin day I don’t think this would be enough.
However for a good skin day, it’s stunning.
A dewy and creamy finish.
How Does Pat McGrath Compare?
Ok, I was signifincantly more tanned when I bought this foundation.
But on the bright side, the sheer difference in shades makes it easy to see them both.
This was Shade Medium 19.
Now Pat McGrath…
Thin & Sheer
The first thing I noticed about this foundation was how thin & watery it was when I put it onto my skin.
You can see how quickly it dripped down my skin compared to Armani.
(I’ve never had to be so quick with my camera!)
Coverage is Minimal
When you look at my freckles you can see a lot more on the Pat McGrath side.
So I wouldn’t trust Pat McGrath if I needed to cover anything.
It really is a sheer cover.
Too sheer to justify spending £61.
My recommendation would be the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk.
It gives a beautiful glowy finish.
And a slight coverage to help us a long the way.
