Ultra Thick Moisturiser
When you initially scoop it out on your finger it is super thick!
Before I read the instructions…
I just rubbed it into my skin and noticed you have to give it a bit of welly to rub it in as it’s really thick.
Then I read the instructions…
You need to warm it in-between your fingers to activate the miracle broth!
Then it’s a lot easier to rub in!
La Mer: Verdict
As I was rubbing it into my skin, I noticed it had quite a chemical smell.
Compared to the 111SKIN day cream which smelt divine, (read my full review here), I was a bit disappointed this didn’t smell as luxurious as you would think.
However the finish is super matte.
And a perfect base for make up.
Especially if you have oily skin!
You can also just tell this moisturiser is filled with super nutrients!
How Does Augustinus Bader Compare?
I first heard about Augustinus Bader in one of Molly-Mae’s Youtubes.
Her skincare recommendations are always amazing, so I had to check this brand out.
It’s filled with potent antioxidants, working to defend the skin against environmental aggressors that can contribute to premature skin ageing.
As well as brightening benefits from the pomegranate seed.
Then I saw the price and nearly fell over.
Is it really worth the money?
Before…
A Beautiful Glow
Putting on an oil before make up felt super weird.
I thought ‘I’m just going to look like a greaseball all day and my make up will slip right off.’
However I couldn’t have been more wrong…
