Hourglass Vanish Seamless

Double the Pigment

This unique foundation stick combines the coverage of a concealer.

The seamless fluidity of a foundation.

To create the perfect two in one, that will stay on your skin all day long!

And I can confirm – it definitely does not move!

Maximum Coverage

I went for shade Beige, and drew a couple of lines across my forehead, cheeks and chin.

Then I use the Hourglass Foundation Brush

(THE best foundation brush you will ever use FYI)

To blend it in seamlessly…

Long Wearing Finish

Once buffed in, I added the Rodial Banana Lowlighter under my eyes.

Then patted the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder across my skin to see the finished look…

Voila!

I was actually really pleased with the finish of this foundation.

When I first applied it to my skin I thought it might look a bit cakey…

But once buffed in it really does cover every single imperfection and gives you a flawless finish.

Probably the most flawless finish I’ve had from a foundation!

How Does Bobbi Brown Compare?

Natural & Fresh

The idea behind this Bobbi Brown Foundation Skin Stick is that it gives a seamless veil over the skin…

A natural looking coverage.

Silky & Velvety

With Olive Extracts and Shea Butter, this foundation promises to nourish your skin.

And it definitely does feel a lot more moisturising than the Hourglass stick…

Flawless Finish

I went for shade Natural Tan.

And once buffed in (with my, ahem, Hourglass Foundation Brush)…

I thought this foundation definitely gave a nice glow.

Blended and Buffed

It’s definitely a more natural look (as they advertise).

To me, it’s more like a tinted moisturiser.

You can definitely see more of my freckles and ‘imperfections’ with the Bobbi Brown compared to the Hourglass.

Hourglass Is My Winner

I’m more of a full coverage kinda gal…

So the Hourglass Vanish Seamless is exactly what I was looking for.

If you want a bold foundation stick, with a beautiful tanned shade (Shade Beige) and a creamy finish, invest in the Hourglass Foundation stick.

If you’re looking for a natural finish, then Bobbi Brown would be the perfect option.
